RUSTLE: The 2026 Fall Playlist

While some of the culture has appeared to put pumpkin spice on pause (thankfully), I have been toiling away at curating my fall collection of new music to help you transition into the season of sweater weather (and temporarily relieve you from the news about the impending AI apocalypse).

As we collectively come down from the high that was Madonna's Confessions II this summer, I've kicked things off with her slightly darker "Bizarre" from that album (it's my most repeated play of the year so far).

Next is Tate Vandelay, an indie electro-pop act that dropped into my algorithm and wooed me with "Starlight." Then there's Miley, who has dropped the Cyrus along with her fantastic banger "Bass Persuades," which is a much-needed indictment on Gen Z's hesitation to have basic fun. (The "kids don't wanna dance" chorus says it all.)

What else do I have in store? The new CRJ, the new Sigrid, and a bunch of surprises that you'll be loving well before everyone else does.

Happy listening!
